CrackerJack Mudjacking is a family run company based in Loveland. We have been raising settled slabs across Larimer and Weld County since 2003, and we have done it more than 20,000 times.
CrackerJack Mudjacking has been lifting concrete in Northern Colorado since 2003, and the company is run by owner Mike Anstine. In that time we have completed more than 20,000 jobs across Larimer and Weld County.
The work has not changed much in those years, and that is on purpose. We use traditional cementitious slurry, the original mudjacking method, because it fills large voids with real volume and holds weight. Plenty of contractors have moved to polyurethane foam. Foam is a good product for the right slab. It is not the right answer for every slab, and we would rather be very good at one method than average at two.
What has changed is how much we know about this specific ground. Twenty three years of drilling into driveways from Berthoud to Wellington to Eaton teaches you where the water goes, which subdivisions were built on fill that is still moving, and which slabs are worth saving.
Repair concrete that can be repaired, and say so plainly when it cannot.
There is a version of this business where every call becomes a sale. Quote the lift, take the money, and let the customer find out in two years that the downspout was the actual problem. We would rather tell you at the estimate that your slab needs a drainage fix more than it needs us, and lose that job.
A slab we lift should stay lifted. That is the whole standard, and it is why we spend as much of the material on filling the void as on the lift itself.

Dense cementitious material suits slabs carrying vehicle and equipment weight. Driveways, shop floors, loading areas and agricultural pads are normal work for us.
Most of the material goes into the empty space beneath the slab before anything rises. Skipping that is how a lift ends up needing to be redone.
We look at drainage, grade, downspouts and irrigation during the estimate, because those are usually what moved the soil in the first place.
The same crew and the same standard on a front walk and on a warehouse floor. The load changes, the care does not.
Mudjacking runs on a pump, a mixer and a hose, and our rig travels on a flatbed that carries the whole operation to your property in one trip.
Slurry is mixed on site so the consistency can be adjusted to the slab in front of us. A thin walkway panel and a shop floor with a deep washout do not want the same mix, and being able to change it in the moment matters more than any single piece of hardware.
The other thing worth saying about our equipment is how little of your property it touches. There is no excavator, no demolition and no dump truck. The rig parks on the street or the driveway and we work from there, which is why your lawn, your sprinklers and your landscaping are still intact when we leave.
We will talk you out of work
If your concrete is too far gone to lift, or if the cause is something a mudjacker cannot fix, we tell you at the estimate. It is a short conversation and it costs us the job, and it is still the right call.
We are honest about the tradeoffs
Our injection holes are bigger than foam holes and the patches stay visible up close. Foam cures faster than our material does. Those are real advantages of the other method and we are not going to pretend they do not exist. What we will do is explain where each one actually matters on your slab.
